Catering Menu On The Pigs Back

On the Pig's Back Stall, (Est. 1992) in the English Market is famous for their selection of Farmhouse Cheeses and Charcuterie, Award winning Pates and Terrines and Free Range Hams. Since we have opened the Café in 2009, we have also built up a serious reputation for the food and service in our Café. All our items on our menu are freshly made with as much local ingredients, and local artisan food products as possible.

 Homemade Quiche

Serves 8-10 €35.00

 

  • Lorraine: caramelized onions, home-cooked ham, Emmental cheese
  • Oven Roasted Vegetable: spinach, tomato, onions, peppers, sweet potatoes, Ardsallagh goats cheese

On The Pig’s Back Charcuterie Sharing Platter. 

Our specialty platters can include a selection of our Award winning homemade pates and terrine, salamis, cold meats, saucissons, Spanish French or Italian cured ham, garnished with gerkins and olives.

Corèze or Rosette de Lyon ,Mont Charvin Lonzo and Salami: Gubbeen Chorizo, Hegartys cheddar, Gubbeen smoked cheese, Wicklow Blue cheese, Carrigaline cheese with garlic and herb,  Cornichons, Grapes, Almonds , OTPB Crackers x2 , Seymours chill  sablés

 

Addition of : Pâté or Terrine €5.00, Hummus €5.00, Olives €5.00

 

Cold Meat Platter

We use Jack McCarthy's Free Range from Kanturk, Co. Cork. The hams are cooked in our premises and glazed in our ovens.

  • Traditional Spiced Beef or Pastrami (80g pp)
  • Mixed Platter of Meats also available
