Traditional raw milk semi soft cheese, made in St Nectaire in the Auvergne Mountain region of centre France, which is the region for Salers Cows, from which milk the St Nectaire is made from.
This very aromatic cheese is matured at least for 6 weeks on a rye straw, which give it a delicious musky mushroomy flavour.
