Ballyhoura Mountain Mushrooms is a company run by us based in the Ballyhoura Mountains that border the counties of Cork, Limerick & Tipperary in Ireland. Our aim is very simple to grow and supply the finest possible quality speciality mushrooms and mushroom products.

Who are we

Dr Lucy Deegan Mark Cribbin

It came about in 2011, due to a hobby that literally mushroomed itself into a business that now grows in excess of 10 varieties of speciality mushrooms year round. Our mushrooms are predominantly grown on wood substrate and all are grown in the absence of chemicals or pesticides.

We supply our range of cultivated speciality mushrooms & in addition to seasonal wild mushrooms & plants we forage, direct to a wide range of restaurants from Michelin star restaurants to the smallest cafes and also via farmers markets and food festivals to home cooks.Foraged Cep/Porcini dried and milled into an ultrafine powder.
